The Lorax by: Dr. Seuss
The Lorax was banned for only a few reasons, and those reasons are argued over by many people. The most common reason is that the book was persuading children against logging, because in the story there is a magical creature that protects the trees in his forest that is usually ignored by humans. When a man named “The Once-ler” ended up discovering the forest, started to cut down trees and make clothing out of them. The Lorax told the man to stop cutting down trees or else it would ruin his home. The Once-ler didn't stop though, until there was nothing left and all the animals were gone. This story could persuade almost any child against logging, but many people disagree with this moral. Logging is very helpful and makes a lot of profit, although it ruins the forests. That is why the book is commonly banned, but even though it is, there is still hope for this book.
